Meet the Team

Birch Dental Studio was created from a simple belief: care should feel natural, thoughtful, and grounded in genuine connection. Inspired by environments where wellbeing is seamlessly integrated into daily life, the space is composed with balanced light, natural materials, and a quiet palette that encourages stillness and presence.

The studio was conceived as a setting where intention is visible in every detail. Surfaces, textures, and tonal elements are arranged not for display, but for experience, shaping a sense of calm attentiveness. What begins as a clinical appointment transitions into a moment of restoration shaped by comfort and meaning.

This mindset extends to the team. Each member is chosen not only for clinical expertise but for their ability to connect with individuals and honor their unique journey. At Birch, care is not performed. It is considered, shaped, and delivered with a quiet confidence that defines our standard of practice.

  • Dr. Brian Sokolov brings a blend of precision, innovation, and artistry to dentistry. A graduate of Rutgers School of Dental Medicine, he refined his clinical foundation at Brookdale Hospital, a Level II trauma center known for its complex cases. His pursuit of excellence led him to advanced training with the American Academy of Implant Dentistry under Dr. Oscar Hilt Tatum—the pioneer of the modern sinus lift. He continued to expand his expertise at the 3D Implant Institute, mastering full-mouth rehabilitation through digital design and implantology.

At Birch Dental Studio, Dr. Sokolov’s vision is clear: to unite advanced technology, refined technique, and an elevated patient experience under one roof. His approach is rooted in both technical mastery and an artistic eye for transforming smiles.

  • Eras Chong brings a global perspective and a deep commitment to reimagining healthcare. Her path has been shaped by witnessing the resilience of Rwanda’s health system, the equity innovations of emerging economies, and the hospitality traditions of destinations such as Bali and Bodrum. She translates these influences into the Birch Dental philosophy—care that is at once rigorous, human-centered, and hospitality-driven.

With leadership experience at Lenox Hill Hospital and Montefiore Medical Center, she has managed and grown ambulatory care services in New York City’s most dynamic healthcare environments. Eras earned her Master’s in Public Administration from New York University and carries forward a vision of dentistry as part of a broader movement toward health, design, and community.
